I heard a POP! |
Tuesday, April 21st, 2015:
Guillermo Mendoza SP will have to wait a while longer to return to the BSA. The Toronto starting pitcher was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 8 months with a fractured elbow. The injury has kept him off the field since 04/17/2015. Though Mendoza had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive."
Team trainer Earl Lowery was in disgust once he heard the official word from the doctors. The XRay showed one bone but in two pieces and there is a huge question mark if he will even return to the BSA ever again.
